                   CRYPTO-BOX Demo-Programm

You can find a ready to use demo program "CB-DEMO.EXE" in the 
subdirectory \CBOX\CB-DEMOS\WIN-DEMO. It shows all CRYPTO-BOX 
features.

REMARK:
  The demo program runs under Win 3.1x, Windows 95 and Windows NT.
**** Windows 95 users: ****
  Please install the CRYPTO-BOX device driver for Windows 95 first.
  The driver resides in the directory \CBOX\WIN-API\WIN-95\*.*
  Type "REGISTER" and reboot your system to install the driver.
**** Windows NT users: ****
  Please install the CRYPTO-BOX device drivers for Windows NT first.
  The drivers reside in the directory \CBOX\WIN-API\WIN-NT\*.*
  Type "REGISTER" and reboot your system to install the driver.

The program CB-DEMO.EXE can only be used with the demo version of the
CRYPTO-BOX 560 and CRYPTO-BOX VERSA (ID3, ID6-ID8 and RAM2 are only
available for the CRYPTO-BOX 560).

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
