		1) R004.PRI     - Lab release of Buffalo primary
				  firmware 
		2) SMU.EXE      - SMU version 0.041
		3) E001-003.FAL - Fallback code
		4) M001-003.BIN - Monitor


      This is a lab level release of firmware for the HR8000\HR4000. 
	It is based upon L003_017.

	L003-009   6/15/00	Speed Clamp Changes - Required for Sprint
			  	Fixed the Control Panel - Causing machine to hang
				Notch Search - Relaxed search criteria

	L003-010		Added Sprint code
				Corrected X's in Sprint name at bootup

	L003-011   10/13/00	Reads scanner type from e2prom

	L003-013   11/01/00	Added 0.5" fix to calibration

	L003-014   11/01/00	Reports error 2107 as 2007

	L003-015   11/13/00	Fixes 2007 problem in L003-014

	L003-016   12/19/00	Cleaned up RS232 output

	L003_017   1/10/01	Modified CALCMCP.CPP to printout scan window
				coordinates so that occasional 110 Error can
				be investigated.

				Modified FLASHCTL.H and LZSS-C.CPP to fix the

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
