Installation Instructions for Windows 2000/XP
( Plug&Play cards, for ISA cards see the file isa.txt )
(1) If a previous version of INES IEEE488.2 GPIB is installed:
Remove all previous installations of INES IEEE488.2 GPIB
by using <distribution-dir-or-drive>\tools\igclreg.exe
(2) Install (all) INES GPIB Plug&Play card(s).
(3) Reboot your computer. Windows recognizes the new hardware.
Let the Hardware Wizard search for a driver and choose
CD-ROM (or the directory containing the download content)
as source. This adds the hardware specific software components
to your computer.
(4) After the Hardware Wizard has finished, execute setup.exe from
the installation CD-ROM (or the directory containing the download
content) and follow the instructions of the installation program.
This adds the generic software components to your computer.

Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
