HASP HL Runtime API C++ Sample for Win32 ======================================== API version number 1.10 (September 2004) This sample was built using the Borland C/C++ 5.50 compiler on Windows XP SP1a, and was tested on Windows XP SP2 and Windows 2000. Compilation instructions ------------------------ 1)Set the path and the environment variables for the Borland command-line compiler. 2)Build the c++ API library with the Borland C++ compiler and copy the resulting libhasp_cpp_windows_bcc.lib together with the libhasp_windows_bcc.lib to this directory. The sources for the c++ API can be found in INSTALLDIR\API\Runtime\cpp. The libhasp_windows_bcc.lib can be found in INSTALLDIR\API\Runtime\c. 3)Call mk.cmd in the command line to build the hasp_demo.exe and hasp_update.exe samples. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
