HASP HL Runtime API C++ Sample for Win32
========================================

API version number 1.10 (September 2004)

This sample was built using the Borland C/C++ 5.50 compiler on Windows XP SP1a, and was tested on
Windows XP SP2 and Windows 2000.

Compilation instructions
------------------------
1)Set the path and the environment variables for the Borland 
command-line compiler.

2)Build the c++ API library with the Borland C++ compiler and
copy the resulting libhasp_cpp_windows_bcc.lib together with the
libhasp_windows_bcc.lib to this directory.
The sources for the c++ API can be found in INSTALLDIR\API\Runtime\cpp.
The libhasp_windows_bcc.lib can be found in INSTALLDIR\API\Runtime\c.

3)Call mk.cmd in the command line to build the hasp_demo.exe and 
hasp_update.exe samples.

Operating systems: Win9x, WinNT4 SP6a, Win2000, WinXP, Windows Server 2003.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
