INSTALLING THE VELOCITY 4400 DRIVERS

1. Bring the system down to standard VGA 16 color.
   A.  In your Control Panels, open your Display properties. Click the "Settings" tab, 
	then click the "Advanced" button and then click on "Adapter."  
   B.  Click on "Show all devices" and you will get a list of manufacturers and drivers. 
	Under "manufacturers" go to the very top and choose "Standard display types".
   C.  On the right side, under "Models," click on "Standard Display Adapter VGA".

2. Reboot your system.

3. Create a directory for the new driver files. Click on the V4400_152.EXE file and 
   tell it to extract all files to the specified directory.

4. Change the Display to the updated drivers.

   A.  Go into the Display properties, click the "Settings" tab, click the "Advanced" button
       and then click on "Adapter."  
   B.  Click on "Have Disk" and direct it to where the updated drivers are unzipped to.
   C.  Then click on the Velocity 4400 and tell it to apply.

5. Reboot the system so the updated drivers can take affect.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
