Installation Notes For Windows 98/98SE Users:

1. Shutdown the computer and plug the "ALTIMA Gigabit Ethernet Adapter"
into the PCI slot.
2. After starting Windows 98/98SE, the windows will detect automatically
the new PCI Ethernet Controller, then the "Add New Hardware Wizard"
window appears.
3. Insert the "ALTIMA Gigabit Ethernet Adapter" installation disk
into floppy drive/CD-ROM drive, then click the "Next" button.
4. Select the "Search for the best driver for your device.(Recommended).",
radio button, then click the "Next" button.
5. Insert the driver disk and check "Specify a location." box
Type
Ex. "A:\WIN98"
Click "NEXT".
6. Windows drivers file search for the device.
"Altima 1001 Gigabit Ethernet (IntegratedCopper)" or
"Altima 1002 Gigabit Ethernet (IntegratedCopper)"
Click "NEXT".
7. Click the "Next" button, then the Windows 98/98SE starts to copy
the "ALTIMA Gigabit Ethernet Adapter" driver to the user's hard disk.
8. Click the "Finish" button when windows has finished installing the
software that your new hardware device requires.
9. Restart your computer.
Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
