Backup NBI.NLM, MSM.NLM and ETHERTSM.NLM to other place. 2. Please insert realse driver diskette into floppy disk. 3. Copy all provided NLM and LAN files into your dos directory which include SERVER.EXE. COPY A:\NWSERVER.4X\NBI.NLM C:\NWSERVER COPY A:\NWSERVER.4X\MSM.NLM C:\NWSERVER COPY A:\NWSERVER.4X\ETHERTSM.NLM C:\NWSERVER COPY A:\NWSERVER.4X\SIS7016.LAN C:\NWSERVER COPY A:\NWSERVER.4X\SIS7016.LDI C:\NWSERVER 4. Start the NetWare Server. 5. From the Novell Server side, execute "LOAD INSTALL". Type: 6. Select <NCF files options> 7. Select <Edit AUTOEXEC.NCF file> 8. Add below item into the server's AUTOEXEC.NCF file. LOAD C:\NWSERVER\NBI.NLM LOAD C:\NWSERVER\MSM.NLM LOAD C:\NWSERVER\ETHERTSM.NLM LOAD C:\NWSERVER\SIS7016 SLOT=1 FRAME=Ethernet_802.3 NAME=SIS7016_1_E83 BIND IPX SIS7016_1_E83 NET=xxxx LOAD C:\NWSERVER\SIS7016 SLOT=1 FRAME=Ethernet_802.2 NAME=SIS7016_1_E82 BIND IPX SIS7016_1_E82 NET=xxxx LOAD C:\NWSERVER\SIS7016 SLOT=1 FRAME=Ethernet_II NAME=SIS7016_1_EII BIND IPX SIS7016_1_EII NET=xxxx LOAD C:\NWSERVER\SIS7016 SLOT=1 FRAME=Ethernet_SNAP NAME=SIS7016_1_ESP BIND IPX SIS7016_1_ESP NET=xxxx 9. Please insert release driver diskette into floppy disk. 6. Press <F3> to specify a different <PATH>. <PATH> is directory which include both SIS7016.LAN and SIS7016.LDI Ex. A:\NETSERVER.4X\ 7. Select "Wake On LAN ....". 8. Specify "SLOT", "FrameSelect", "Node", and "Attachment", if necessary. 9. Select "Save parameters and load driver" after configure adapter setting. 10.NetWare server will loading/binding driver automatically. (3) The other time installation from the install menu ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ 1. Start the NetWare Server. 2. Execute "LOAD INSTALL" after booting up. Type, 3. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
