**************************************************************************** Wake On LAN 10/100 Fast Ethernet PCI Adapter Installation for Windows NT Driver **************************************************************************** To install the Wake On LAN 10/100 Fast Ethernet PCI Adapter and driver for use with Windows NT, do the following: 1. Power off your PC and install the adapter in a PCI slot in your PC. 2. Reboot the computer using the Windows NT operating system. 3. Open the Control Panel, which is found in the Main program group of the Program Manager. 4. Start the Network control panel item. 5. Select the "Add Adapter..." option. In the list that appears, scroll to the bottom and select the option "<Other> Requires disk from manufacturer. "Click on "Continue". 6. In the dialog box that appears, enter the location of the 10/100 PCI driver. (For example, if the 10/100 PCI driver diskette is in drive A:,type A:\NT40). Ater typing the location, click on the "OK" button. 7. In the list that appears, double-click on "Wake On Lan 10/100 Fast Ethernet PCI Adapter" 8. In the dialog box that appears, select the Media Type (wiring and connection), Transmit queue size, Receive queue size, Slot number, and Network address for the adapter. The Media Type defaults to None, which is the same as Automatic configuration. Another popular choice is Auto-TP, which forces the use of twisted pair but is auto-negotiated after that. Slot number is only required if there is more than one like adapter in the PC. Network address is optional and is used to override the adapter card's hardware network address. Click on the "OK" button to complete this dialog box (or Cancel to terminate the configuration without completing it). 9. In the next dialog box (Bus Location), select PCI as the Bus Type. Bus Number is normally 0 on most PCs (unless your PC has multiple PCI buses). Click on the "OK" button to continue. 10. Click on the "OK" button in the Network control panel window. Windows NT asks if you wish to reboot. You must reboot before the 10/100 PCI adapter will function properly, so either select the reboot option now or manually reboot later, before using the 10/100 PCI adapter.Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
