CHIPS TV Demonstration Program

The CHIPS TV Demonstration Program is designed to work with the
Chips and Technologies Inc. ("CHIPS") development kit board,
DK65550-PCI-MM. The software program is customized to function
with the TV tuner module using Philips F1236 device (refer to the
MM65550 Application Note).
This program functions with the following operating systems ONLY:
Windows 95
Window 3.1
Windows for Workgroups 3.11
Before installing the CHIPS TV Demonstration Program, set the
display properties to one of the following resolutions and
colors:
640x480 64k colors
640x480 256 colors
800x600 256 colors
1024x768 256 colors
How to Install
To install CHIPS TV, execute the following steps:
1. For Windows 95, in the program manager desktop click on the
Start button.
For Windows 3.1, in Program Manager click on File from the Menu.
2. Go to Run, and then type in the following:a:\setup
3. Click the OK button. A screen will appear with the option
to continue or cancel.
4. Click the Continue button. A screen will appear with the
option to change the path for installation of the program.
5. Click the Yes button to install. After installation is
complete, click OK.
6. Wait a few moments for Windows 95 to create a program group
for CHIPS TV. Once the program group is created, the Chiptv icon
will appear.
7. Double click on the Chiptv icon to invoke the program.

Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
