the card is a 8 bit ISA card with one large square chip marked:

it is a Intel made chip

the card has a internal floppy connector labled (J1)
and a external female connector (J2)

default jumpers are: w7-w10 3 pin header jumpered on DS2-ME3
        drive options w5 w6

0=open x=closed

the card will control 360-1.44 floppy's only after the DRIVER LOADS!!!!
this card does not have a bios (30-09360-01 REV B)
 (however some motherboards may be able to use this card via bios setup)

other versions do have a bios and can auto boot drives connected to the card.

last some dualspeed 1.2 5.25 drives must be jumpered to be single speed
(the drive spindle does not change speed when using 360/1.2 floppys)
if your sysgen card lacks the second xtal (which some models did not have)

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
