 CREATING AN HP SUPPORT DISK
          PROCEDURE
 ---------------------------

To create a copy of the support disk, a blank formatted 3.5-inch floppy
and the support disk archive file are needed. For example, if the
support disk archive file J2970A.EXE is on the root of the C drive
and a blank 3.5-inch floppy is in the A drive, execute the following
 commands:

    C:
    format a:
    a:
    c:j2970a.exe /x

NOTES: The /x option must be used to extract the directory structure.
A lower case "x" must be used.

Do not extract the Support Disk archive directly onto the floppy.
Temporary files used during the extraction will exceed the 1.44
Mbyte size limit of the floppy.
