Readme First ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ ============================================================================= HELP of DIAGNOSTICS ============================================================================= Instructions on the followings for the Diagnostics: It is a DOS application, it can only run on REAL DOS. These instructions will show you how to get to REAL DOS MODE from the platform that you are in. 1. Windows 95 2. Windows NT 3.5 or 4.0 3. Windows for Workgroups 3.1x 4. OS/2 WARP 5. MS-DOS 6. Boot from floppy 7. Execute Diagnostics from hard disk 1. Windows 95: Click the "Start Button", and then click "Shut Down". Click Yes, then choose "Restart the computer in MS-DOS mode". IMPORTANT: The Diagnostics cannot run on Virtual Dos, Real Dos mode ONLY. 2. Windows NT 3.5 or 4.0: Assume that you have MS-DOS. From BOOTPART SYSTEM STARTUP choose MS-DOS. If you are already in Windows NT, choose "Shut Down Restart Computer". If you do not have MS-DOS OPERATING SYSTEM installed then refer to "6. Boot from floppy" 3. Windows for Workgroups 3.1x: Choose "Exit Windows" and run from MS-DOS. 4. OS/2 WARP: Click "Shutdown" and refer to "6. Boot from floppy". 5. MS-DOS: If your adapter is loaded automatically in the AUTOEXEC.BAT file, then you must temporary remark those line(s). Or, you can press the key <F5> on your keyboard at startup so that it will bypass your AUTOEXEC.BAT and CONFIG.SYS files. 6. Boot from floppy: Format and make system disk on your floppy. EXAMPLE: format a: /s Or you can use the MS-DOS setup disk 1 to boot. This will allow your system to boot from your floppy and bypassing the AUTOEXEC.BAT and CONFIG.SYS files. 7. Execute Diagnostics from hard disk: At dos prompt, change to C:\DIAG\ directory and execute DIAG.EXE file. ============================================================================= FUNCTIONS and KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS ============================================================================= Diagnostics provides the following functions: 1. View the configuration of your network card 2. View the configuration of your system 3. Testing the network card and cable connection status 4. View the network driver installation guide 5. Automatically install the novell ODI driver KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS: 1. Move to the next selection <TAB> 2. Move to the previous selection <SHIFT+TAB> 3. Select the item marked by the cursor <ENTER> 4. Select the item by its quick-select letter(underlined) <ALT+X> 5. EXIT <ALT+F4> USING A MOUSE: A mouse works on the principle that first you place your mouse pointer on (point to) something on your screen, and then you click with a mouse button to perform an action on that item.Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
