(2) Using Adobe Premiere 6.0
 1. Features NOT supported in this version:
 - Stop Motion Capture

 2. Manual Additions:
 - Temporary files and AVI files must be 2GB or under for each file. If you try to render, the indicator will still show in red (as not rendered). You can partially render a portion of the video to divide into smaller temporary files. - If you create a movie larger that 2GB, Premiere may seem to delay for about a minute after rendering the file, before playing the created video. If this happens, please do not touch any key and hold until the preview screen appears.
 - PAL/NTSC
To change the plugin from between PAL and NTSC will require a system reboot. To change, go from the Edit menu to Preferences - Scratch disks and device control - Device Control Options - Detailed Settings tab - Video Standard.

 3. Current limitations:
 - Overlay error in trim mode
In Windows 2000 and NT, the overlay screen shows postarized colors during trim mode.
 - DV Deck Control
The frame forward/back command may move 2-3 frames when switching from frame forward to frame back or vice versa.
 - Timeline cursor may not show correctly when editing in the timeline and trim window. If this happens, please save the project and close/reopen Premiere. This will not affect any details in the project.

(3) Using with Ulead MediaStudio Pro6.0
1. Please set the audio ACM settings as below:
       -PCM CHANNEL(format)
       -16bit Stereo
       -Sampling rates of: 48, 44, or 32Khz
Go from Start/Settings/Control Panel/Multimedia/Advanced, and in Audio Compression Codecs, select DVRaptor Audio Compression Manager, and click [Properties]. Select "Use this audio codec" and change the priority to "1".

2. Video Preview(Smart Play)
Smart Play will not work if the audio is not set to 32kHz or 44.1kHz or 48kHz, 16bit, stereo.

Sometimes a noise can be heard between clips.

3. Creating DV format video files
When you are converting a video file to DV format AVI files that can be used in DVRaptor, click [File]-[Project Settings], and click [Edit] and in the [General] tab, set the Frame Rate to 29.97fps, and the Frame Size to 720x480(NTSC. In PAL, Frame Rate=25fps, Frame Size=720x576). In the [Advanced] tab, uncheck the "interleave video and audio" box, or check the box and set the interleave to more than 15 frames.

4. Time code settings
In MediaStudio Pro6.0, there is a 1 frame difference in the frame number and the true frame time.
When you wish to set to a exact frame, deduct one frame from the SMPTE time code.

5. Video Capture and Video Wizard
DVRaptor does not support Video Capture and Video Wizard. Please use RaptorVideo to capture/playback AVI files.

(4) Additional Information
1. Capture still images in Windows Bitmap, JPEG, JFIF, PICT, PNG, MacPaint, Photoshop, Quick Time Image, Silicon Graphics Image File, True Vision Targa, TIFF formats.
Now you can capture still images using RaptorVideo in other still image formats. When you are saving a still image, click [Browse], and select the file type.

	[DVRaptor]
	CheckDeckMode=0

When 0, RaptorVideo, RaptorNavi will not check the camera mode. If not 0, or if this line is not added, DVRaptor will check camera mode (default).

(5) Limitations

1. Video capture from DV devices through IEEE1394(i.LINK) cables
When you capture video via i.LINK cables, the audio sampling rate of the video is set by the video status at the start of the capture. If there is no video coming in at the start of capture, the audio sampling rate is set at a default setting of 32kHz. If the video that you wish to capture is other than 32kHz, the captured file may not be created properly. Please start playback of the DV device first, then start the video capture.

2. Supported AVI files
RaptorVideo supports only AVI files compressed by Canopus DVRaptor DV Codecs. Some AVI files compressed by Adaptec DV Codecs and Fast DV Codecs can be played, but audio is not compatible.

3. Supported WAVE files
DVRaptor supports wave files in 32kHz or 44.1kHz or 48kHz, 16bit, stereo only.

4. Time code on DV tape
The time code may not be read properly with some DV tapes, according to certain DV device conditions.

5. DV device control
The DV device control works best with SONY DV products. DV devices made by other manufactures may not function properly.

6. Sync Rec
During Sync Rec, if the file playback ends before the recording stops, the last frame is displayed during the rest of the time(the audio will be in mute).

In some DV devices, the last frame might not be recorded properly.
If playback of AVI Clip ends before recording stops, the Last frame of the AVI clip continues to be recorded.

The clip has to be longer than 3 seconds to capture using Sync Rec.

7. Just Cap
Just Cap cannot start at the top of a DV tape. The tape will need to pre-roll for approximately 10 seconds beforehand.

8. Batch Capture
Batch capture cannot start at the top of a DV tape, The tape will need to pre-roll for approximately 10 seconds beforehand.

9. RaptorNavi
Index search may not work properly with tapes that have unrecorded parts between scenes.

10. RaptorVideo
The files on the playlist are currently used. You can not overwrite these files.

11. Drop frame
Please set the drop frame setting accordingly to the video equipment you are using.

13. Logitech mouse settings
When you are using the Logitech mouse, you need to set the scroll size to "none" in the [Control Panel] - [Mouse] - [Button] tab.

14. Using PAL / DVCPRO
You cannot mix PAL DV/DVCAM video and PAL DVCPRO video in one project.
If you are using MediaStudio Pro or Premiere, please set the codec settings accordingly.

15. Placing Titles outside the screen
If you have titles outside the screen and inside the screen, you can change all the title positions at the same time by pressing the Ctrl key while dragging one title.
If you want the title back in the screen, you can click the centering buttons.
You can also delete the title by clicking the tab button to select that title (The selected title will show in the top of the title dialog), and pressing the delete key.
