Readme for v1.15

1. Changed the name to mohser.vxd.
2. Fixed Caller ID to support various formats
3. Supports both cnxtsdk & mdmxsdk SDK names via the INF file.
4. The modem is now install without MOH support enabled.  It must be enabled via
   calls to CxMoHReg.dll.  A sample app MoHConfig.exe supplied with do that.
5. This kit is designed to install via .INF.  Optionally (and easier), you
   may use the included acfsetup.exe.  
6. acfsetup.exe is now used as the uninstaller.  You should uninstall this modem
   through the Add/Remove control panel applet.
7. NOTE: the enclosed acfsetup.exe is not formally released.  It is versioned
   at 10.5 Test

1. Fixed a Port Close crash.
2. Added support for Accept/Resume/Reject override sequences.

1. Fixed routine that was preventing connection to AOL and NetZero
   by eating EM's in the PPP packet.
2. Initialize the port to 8 bit No parity 1 stop bit on port open.

Changes v1.10
=============

1. Made changes to fix DVT problem 1005:
   While testing Monopak version ACF3_V0.606 with MOH driver 
   Alpha v1.09 we encounter the following problem:
       When we generated an outgoing call, just about 30 second, 
       the MOH.exe application close from windows screen automatically 
       and modem can not resume the connection.
2. Added mohChina.exe to this release.
3. Now use universal setup.exe v8.04.  The uninstall was deleting
   some entries in the MODEM registry incorrectly.  
4. The installation setup now places the MOH application on the desktop.



Installation
============

Unzip the contents of this zip file and place in a clean directory.

You must use the enclosed setup.exe to install this ACF modem 
with Modem On Hold support.  If you have already done an INF file
install when the system detects the modem, that is ok.  Just run
the setup.exe anyway.

MOH Operation
=============

To use Modem On Hold, start the MOH application.  With this kit, 
start the program moh.exe.  The application will startup, and 
automatically minimize as a task bar icon that looks like a telephone.
If an incomming is detected, the application will automaticaly popup.
If you wish to make an outgoing call, you must first click on the 
application icon to restore it.

Other Notes
===========

This currently has only been tested under Win98.  It should work in Win98
and WinME.  It will not work under any version of NT, including Windows 2000.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
