WELCOME TO CD-ROM INSTALLATION UNDER WINDOWS 95
This file contains information not available during the printing of
the manual. Please read it's contents before you proceed with any
installation procedure.
This file contains the following sections :

1. Windows 95 Installation
NOTE :
If you have connected your CD-ROM drive to a device (e.g., an audio
card) that uses the secondary port, Windows 95 will automatically
configure the CD-ROM drive for you. If your CD-ROM drive is working
properly, you do not need to run this installation program.
(a) Checking Your CONFIG.SYS File
To set up your CD-ROM drive in Windows 95, run SETUP.EXE.
SETUP.EXE will check your CONFIG.SYS file for the CD-ROM driver
installed in your Windows 3.1/DOS system. It will then prompt you
with a dialog box, indicating the driver you must choose in order
to complete your installation in Windows 95.
(b) Optimum usage of memory
After you have completed the installation, for Windows 95 you can
remark the CD-ROM driver (e.g., SBIDE.SYS - the CD-ROM driver for your
Windows 3.1/DOS system) in your CONFIG.SYS file. This is to allow for
more memory for the Windows applications.
For example:
If you have connected an IDE CD-ROM drive to your Windows 3.1/DOS
system, the following statement is found in your CONFIG.SYS file.
DEVICE=C:\path\SBIDE.SYS /D:MSCD001 /P:1E8,11 /V
To remark this statement, add 'rem' before the statement.
rem DEVICE=C:\path\SBIDE.SYS /D:MSCD001 /P:1E8,11 /V
2. Hard Disk and IDE CD-ROM Drive
Do not connect your IDE CD-ROM drive and hard disk to the same
IDE port.

Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
