To manually remove all Intel(R) Application Accelerator RAID
Edition software from your system, print these instructions
and then complete the following steps:
WARNING: If booting to a RAID 0 volume, all the data
on the RAID-controlled hard drive(s) will be DELETED and
will not be accessible. Please backup all important data
before proceeding. You will need to re-install the operating
system after completing the steps below.
Note: If booting to a RAID 1 volume, your system should
boot (to a single Serial ATA drive) after completing the
steps below.
1. Reboot the system.
2. Depending on your system configuration, complete the
appropriate steps.
If your system has the Intel(R) RAID Option ROM
installed:
2a. Enter the Intel RAID Option ROM Setup by pressing
the 'Ctrl' and 'i' (CTRL + I) keys at the
appropriate time during boot-up.
2b. Once you have entered the Intel RAID Option ROM
Setup, select menu option #2 to ‘Delete Volume’,
‘Del’ to select the volume, and ‘Y’ to confirm.
2c. Exit the Option ROM Setup.
2d. Enter the system BIOS Setup (usually done by
pressing a key such as 'F2' or 'Delete' during
boot-up).
2e. Change the IDE configuration for the RAID-controlled
hard drive(s) from 'RAID' to 'IDE'.
If your system does not have the Intel RAID Option ROM
installed:
2f. Enter the system BIOS Setup (usually done by
pressing a key such as 'F2' or 'Delete' during
boot-up).
2g. Change the IDE configuration for the RAID-controlled
hard drive(s) from 'RAID' to 'IDE'.
Note: If you experience any difficulties making these
changes to the system BIOS, please contact your motherboard
manufacturer or place of purchase for assistance.
Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
