        Printronix P5000 H-series LP+ WINDOWS 95 DRIVER V1.0


This is Printronix P5000 H-series LP+ Windows 95/98 Driver, it is for P5000
H-series LP+ Japanese printer.

Installation Instructions:

Before Installation Printer Driver, we strongly recommend to exit all the 
running applications. 

Place the driver disk in the drive A of your PC.  From the 
Start->Settings->Printers menu, double click on the "Add Printer" icon and 
follow the "Add Printer Wizard" instructions until completed.

User Hints:

A) If the installation does not finish successfully and Windows complains
   that the driver can not be installed because it couldn't be loaded, or 
   the driver is busy being used by other application. close all the 
   applications, and reboot your PC.
   check your c:\windows\system directory for the following files:
   > cd \windows\system
   > dir unidrv.*
   > delete unidrv.*

   then, reinstall the printer driver.

   If "unidrv.dll", "unidrv.hlp" do not exist in your windows\system directory, 
   then copy them from the floppy disk onto your windows\system directory:

   > copy /b a:unidrv.* c:\windows\system\unidrv.*

   
B) If upon modifying the printer properties of the driver(after installation
   is complete), only the "General" and "Details" property pages appear (no
   property pages for setting graphic resolution, paper size, or others) then
   copy the file iconlib.dll from the floppy disk onto your c:\windows\system
   directory: (Microsoft PRB, article # Q171248)

   > copy /b a:iconlib.dll c:\windows\system\iconlib.dll

C) The page parameters such as paper size, orientation also should be set
   properly from within your Windows application(i.e. MS Word's page setup, 
   etc...) before you print the documents
