Install Windows 95 Adaptec Ultra160 Family Manager Set driver manually.

1. Click the Start button on the Windows 95 task bar, and then point to Settings.

2. Click Control Panel. Double-click the System icon.

3. On the Device Manager tab, click the plus sign next to the SCSI controller icon.

NOTE: If Windows 95 cannot determine the type of host adapter installed in your computer, 
      a yellow question mark labeled Other devices appears instead of the SCSI controller 
      icon. To continue, click the plus sign next to the question mark; a yellow question 
      mark labeled PCI SCSI Bus Controller then appears.

4. Double-click the adapter you wish to update, or if a yellow question mark labeled 
   PCI SCSI Bus Controller is displayed, double-click the question mark.

5. Insert ASUS Support CD into CD-ROM driver.

6. Select the Driver tab.

7. Click Change Driver, select SCSI Controllers.

8. Click the Have Disk button and enter {CD-ROM Drive}:\Drivers\SCSI\Adaptec\Win95\Ultra
   as the path.

9. Click OK.

10. Select the Adaptec Ultra160 Family host adapter, and click OK.

11. Again, click OK. The driver is now installed.

12. Click Yes to restart your computer.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
