Performing a new install -------------------------------------- III. Troubleshooting Tips -------------------------------------- * When installing the driver into a Windows desktop PC using an ISA- or PCI-to-PCMCIA adapter, you MUST correctly install the adapter card BEFORE attempting to install the OR Client PC Driver. Failure to correctly install the adapter card before installing the OR Client PC Driver will cause the OR Client PC Driver to be installed incorrectly, causing unpredictable results. Observed symptoms include: - Not recognizing the Avaya Wireless PC Card when it is inserted into the PCMCIA slot. - Automatically detecting the Avaya Wireless PC Card when it is inserted, and allowing you to install the driver, but the driver does not load correctly when the card is inserted. - Windows Device Manager reporting that 'The device is disabled, not installed correctly, or is not plugged in'. - On Windows 2000, driver may appear to install correctly. The Client Manager may report a normal connection when in IEEE 802.11 client mode, but always report 'No COR Station in Range' when in Outdoor Router Client mode. In both cases, the Windows networking cable connection indicator ALWAYS reports 'Network Cable Unplugged'.Download Driver Pack
