Instructions for FM radio function activation in Energy Sistem® Inngenio 1000
=============================================================================

- Do not connect Inngenio 1000 to you PC until you are instructed to do so.

- Make sure the software provided with the Inngenio 1000 companion CD is not installed on your PC. 
  If it is installed, please uninstall it using MS Windows Add/Remove Programs utility.

- Make sure the folder C:\Program Files\MP3 Utilities has been removed. If necessary, remove it manually.

- Uncompress .zip file (using winzip, winrar or a similar utility) and run setup.exe.

- After finishing installation, connect Inngenio 1000 to your PC via USB port.

- Access Start -> Programs -> MP3 Player Utilities 3.15, and run MP3 Player Upgrade Tool.

- A window will open showing the currently installed version of the firmware (3.2.16) 
  and the version about to be installed (3.2.08). A smaller number indicates a newer version.

- Click on "Begin update" and wait for a message to appear indicating that the update has 
  been successfully completed. Click on "OK".

- Double-click on the "My Computer" icon to display a list of devices. Right-click on the 
  removable disk drive that corresponds to the Inngenio 1000 player and select "Format".
  Select "FAT file system" and "Start". Once format is complete, you may start copying mp3 
  files onto the device.

- To unplug the Inngenio 1000 from the USB port, it is highly recommended that you first do 
  "Safely Remove Hardware" by clicking on the green arrow icon near the clock in the system 
  tray.

- You are now ready to enjoy FM radio with your Energy Sistem® Inngenio 1000

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
