Windows ME Installation and Upgrade Information

1. Right-click "My Computer" icon from the desktop. Select "Properties"
item while the menu appears.
or you can press "Start" button and move highlight bar to "Settings"
and select "Control Panel". Double click on "System" icon.
2. Select "Device Manager" page.
3. View device by type and find "Network adapters" node.
4. Select the "3Com 3C920 Integrated Fast Ethernet Controller (3C905C-TX
Compatible)" node and then click the "Properties" button.
5. Select [Driver] page to update driver.
6. Press Next while the "Update Device Driver Wizard" window appears.
7. Select "Specify the location of the driver.(Advanced)" option and then
press Next.
8. Select "Display a list of all the drivers in a specific location, so you
can select the driver you want." option.
9. Press "Have Disk ..." Button while "Select Device" window appears. In the
"Install From Disk" window, type or browse the path {CD-ROM Drive}:\Drivers\Lan\3COM
to the driver and then press Next.
10. Click Next then Windows ME identifies the card as "3Com 3C920 Integrated
Fast Ethernet Controller (3C905C-TX Compatible)".
11. Finally, press Finish to complete the installation.
Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
