Install the MS560RS-(U) Driver For Windows XP 1.Click Start > Settings > Control Panel. 2.In the Control Panel, double-click System. *Note: If you do not see the System option in the Control Panel, click "view all Control Panel options" to display the System icon. 3.In the System Properties dialog, click Hardware tab and click on Device Manager. 4.Expand the folders modems and doube-click "Generic Softk56 Data Fax". 5.Select Driver tab, and click Update Driver. 6.Select the "Install from a list or specific location (Advanced)", and click Next. 7.Select the "Don't search, I will choose the driver to install", and click Next. 8.Press <Have Disk...>. 9.Enter "CDROM:\MODEM\40605_WinXP", press <OK>. *Note: "CDROM:\MODEM\40605_WinXP" is the folder of the drivers. 10.Select the "Softk56 Data Fax" item, click Next. 11.In the "has not passed Windows Logo..."message , click "Contiune Anyway" button. 12.Click Finish. 13. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
