1. Introduction:
This 32-bit ODI driver is provided to connect Novell NetWare system from
Windows 95.
2. Contents of the Subdirectory:
PNPSRV.LAN The 32-bit ODI driver.
3. Installation
* For cards under Plug & Play mode:
1) Install the PNP Card on your PC system and set the Operating mode
to Plug & Play following the procedure described in your instal-
lation manual.
2) Run the Client 32 setup program (SETUP.EXE).
3) When the "NetWare Client 32 Installation" panel appears, select
the "Start" button.
4) When the "Recommended NetWare Client 32 Properties" panel appears,
select the "Yes" button.
5) In the "Novell NetWare Client 32 Properties" panel specify the
required settings, such as "Preferred Server", "Output Settings",
and so on.
6) Restart Windows 95.
* For cards under Jumperless mode:
1) Install the PNP Card on your PC system and set the Operating mode
to Jumperless following the procedure described in your instal-
lation manual.
2) Run the Client 32 setup program (SETUP.EXE).
3) When the "NetWare Client 32 Installation" dialog appears, select
the "Start" button.
4) When the "Select Device" panel appears, select the "Have Disk"
button.
5) When the "Install From Disk" panel appears, insert the Ethernet
Driver Disk shipped with the card to any floppy drive, and then
specify the path where the driver for Client 32 is located (e.g.,
A:\CLIENT32 or B:\CLIENT32) and select OK.
The screen will return to the "Select Device" panel with "ATI
AT-2000PNP Ethernet Adapter for Novell Client 32" listed.
6) When the "Coping Files..." panel is displayed, specify the path
where the file PNPSRV.LAN is located for system to copy it.
7) Restart Windows 95.
Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
