   Windows XP provides a complete "Plug and Play" System that
   automatically recognizes and configures PCMCIA Fast Ethernet PC Card.

   Before installing the PCMCIA Fast Ethernet PC Card, Windows XP's PCMCIA
   service must be installed and enabled.  This service can be started
   in the Control Panel.

   Driver Installation Steps for Windows XP:

   1. Insert PCMCIA Fast Ethernet PC Card in one of the PCMCIA Slots
      and start Windows XP.

   2. Insert the Driver Diskette in your floppy drive.

   3. Select "Install the software automatically(Recommand)" in the
      "Found New Hardware Wizard" dialog box, then click "Next"
      button.

   4. Select "PCMCIA Fast Ethernet PC Card" in the "Found New Hardware
      Wizard" dialog box, then click "Next" button. Click
      "Continue Anyway" in the "Found New Hardware Wizard" dialog box.

   5. When Windows prompts with "PCMCIA Fast Ethernet PC Card" in the
      "Found New Hardware Wizard" dialog box, click the "Finish" botton.

   6. Remove the Adapter Driver Diskette from your floppy drive.

   7. Restart your computer to take effect the network function.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
