NOVELL CLIENT32 for DOS

Driver install procedure:

1   Change directory to the NOVELL CLIENT32 installation source path.

	D:\install  

2   Using space bar to select the products you want to install on your 
    workstation.

		[X] NetWare Client32 for DOS   

3   Press [F10] to continue installation.

4   In "Select a LAN Driver Type" dialog box, select "32-bit LAN drivers"
    to install the driver.

5   In "32-Bit Network Board Drivers" dialog box, select "USER SPECIFIED
    32 BIT DRIVER" to continue.

6   Insert the PCI Ethernet Card's driver diskette and specify the driver's
    source path as 

		A:\SERVER.ODI\4.X

7   Select "PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter Driver" to contiune installation.

8   In "Setting for PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter Driver" dialog box, check the 
    driver's resource setting. Press [F10] when complete the setting.

9   In "Installation Configuration Summary" dialog box, press [F10] to accept 
    system to modify the CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT files.  	

10  Restart your system to complete the driver installation.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
