Start Testptn.exe (Click of mouse) to execute. Press the button of mouse to end. (or End with character/number/Enter key of the keyboard.) Test pattern is displayed on the whole screen by the resolution of your use state. The pattern may not be displayed on the whole screen by the version of Windows NT. In this case, confirm the revision of screen position with the screen by use state. (2) mellcd-i.inf , Lxa422w.icm and mellcd-d.inf It is the file to utilize the Mitsubishi Liquid Crystal Monitor by "Setting of Display" of Windows 95 or "Wizard" of Windows 98. ( mellcd-d.inf is the Japanese version ) (2-1) How to install the INF file in Windows 98: 1. Power on the monitor ,then the computer. 2. "Wizard" window will open automatically. 3. Insert the included floppy disk into the computer. 4. Click on "Next>" or press "Enter" key until finish the recognition of the monitor. 5. Click on "Finish" to close the "Wizard" window. example Window message : select "Search for the best driver for your device.[Recommended]" select "The updated driver [Recommended]" Mitsubishi LXA422W ( or RDT141X) Information for file location "a:\MELLCD-I.INF" or "a:\MELLCD-D.INF" infromation "Finish" (2-2) How to install the INF file in Windows 95: 1. Start the Windows95. 2. Click on the Start menu and Settings to open the Control Panel. 3. Double click on "Display". 4. Click on the Settings tab of the Display Properties window. 5. Click on the Settings tab (or Change Display Type...) of the Display Properties window. 6. Click on the "Change ..." at the right of the Monitor Type window. 7. Click on "Have Disk..." below the model section in the Select Device window. (screen shot) 8. Click on "OK" of the Install From Disk window. 9. Click on "Show compatible devices" from the Select Device window. Confirm your model of "Mitsubishi LXA422W ". Click on "OK". 10. Click on "Renew", "Close" (or "OK") in the Change Display Type (or "Change...") window. 11. Click on "OK" in the Display Properties window. (3) Readme_e.txt and Readmeja.txt The explanation of the file in this floppy disk is mentioned. This Readme_e.txt is the English version. Readmeja.txt is the Japanese version. (4) test-mac and Resource, Desktop, Fileid, Finder Test pattern for Macintosh is test-mac. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
