File Name:
----------
  - INSTALL.TXT

Documentation:
--------------
By : Alvin Hwang, MiTAC International Corp., Taiwan
  Date : Feb. 01, 1996
  Revision : R00

---------------------
  - MiTAC Notebook 5027
  - Intel Pentium Processor(200/233Mhz)
  - 32 MB RAM
  - NEC 3 mode Floppy
  - Windows 95 Final Release(Japanese Version)

Files Needed:
-------------
  - MITAC527.VXD for MiTAC 5027 Series
  - MS3FD527.INF used by Windos 95 Registry

Installation Procedures:
------------------------
  - In Control Panel, launch the Add New Hardware Wizard
  - Choose to install specific hardware(DO NOT choose auto detect)
  - Click Next
  - Choose to install Floppy Disk Controller
  - Click Have Disk Button
  - Type in the directory where the source files, mitac524.vxd and ms3fd524.inf
    are located
  - Click Ok, Wizard will load the files
  - Installation complete, Reboot the system

Important Notes:
----------------
  - You HAVE TO removed any 3 mode VxDs which you have installed in the registry
before the installation of this mitac527.vxd dirver. Otherwise, there is
likely to have a conflict and the system will not work correctly.
  - Two files, mitac527.vxd and ms3fd527.inf are needed in order to install them
    into the Windows 95 system.
  - When you using Dos Box Prompt, the response of the system with the 3 mode
capability seems to be slower than before without the feature. It might
take longer to complete the task in some cases. This is not a hang on.
Hopefully, these shortcomes will be work around by Microsoft before the
    Windows 95 shipment time.
  - The installation procedures for other models is exactly the same except
that you have to replace the driver, mitac527.vxd with other files that are
suitabe for your specific models, such as mitac???.vxd. Also the file,
ms3fd527.inf needs to be substituted with corresponding file, such as
    ms3fd???.inf.
