Download the self-extracting archive file for your monitor and save it to a floppy disk or a temporary directory. 2. Extract the drivers by running the file. 3. Open the Windows Control Panel (from the Start/Settings menu) 4. Double-Click "Display" and then select "Settings" 5. Windows 95 and Windows 95A users should select "Change Display Type", then "Change Monitor" Windows 95 (B and C) and 98 users should select "Advanced Properties" and then click on the "Monitor" tab 6. Select "Have Disk" 7. Use "Browse" to find the location of the driver file that you extracted then click "OK". 8. Select your monitor from the list that is displayed and click "OK". After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
