Helpful Hints Using the Kodak Calibration Application Version 1.1.0: =================================================================== 1. When clicking on the Select Printer... button in the "Easy Cal Step 2 of 5" dialog the software will attempt to contact the printer to find out information about the printer. This information is then used to fill in the Select Dialog. On some computers the first attempt to contact the printer can fail and the dialog will remain gray. Clicking Update will eventually retrieve the needed information. 2. If a paper jam occurs in the area of the bottom door of the printer, the printer will need to be reset. This reset can happen if the paper tray is removed and then reseated back into the slot or the printer can be power cycled off and on. 3. If any problems are encountered please refer to KODAK Digital Science Calibration Utility User's guide. 4. The Kodak photo printer 4720\4710\4700 export module will appear in Photoshop's list of export modules. However this export is intended for use with Kodak calibration only and does not support printing from Adobe Photoshop. A dialog will appear with this information if the Kodak 4720\4710\4700 Printer is selected. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Copyright (C) 2000-01 Eastman Kodak Company.
