This port monitor sends print jobs to a hot-folder.

1.  From the Windows START menu, select "Settings | Printers." 

2.  Select "File | Server Properties," and click the "Ports" tab.

3.  Click the "Add Port..." button.

4.  Click the "New Port Type..." button.

5.  Browse to the folder containing this port monitor software.
    For Windows 2000, select the MONITOR.INF file.
    For Windows XP, select the EKSDPM.INF file.

6.  Click "Open", and then click "OK".

7.  Select "Kodak Source Directory Port" from the list, and then click 
    the "New Port..." button.

8.  Specify a port number (1-999) and the name of the Hot Folder
    you wish to use.  Then click OK.  Close dialog boxes until
    the "Printers" windows is brought to the front.

9.  Install the ML-500 printer driver, if one doesn't already
    exist.  (Refer to the printer driver's ReadMe file for details.)
    Be sure to select the EKSD local port for the printer driver
    to use, and share it over the network.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
