KODAK Professional RFS3570 Film Scanner TWAIN (PC) Driver Version 3.3 Windows PC Installer README.TXT 12/05/96 ________________________________________________________ INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: 1-Start Microsoft Windows. 2-Make sure that you are in the Program Manager. 3-Insert the TWAIN setup disk into drive A or B. 4-Open File Menu and choose the Run command. 5-Type a:\setup (type b:\setup if you are using drive B) in the Command Line text box. 6-Press ENTER and follow the instructions on the screen. Important information on the RFS 3570 TWAIN Compliant Driver is found in the file "README.WRI". This file is installed with the RFS 3570 TWAIN driver(s) in your Windows directory in the subdirectory TWAIN\RFS3570. If Windows is installed on drive C: then this file can be found in C:\WINDOWS\TWAIN\RFS3570\README.WRI Important DOS PC configuration information on the RFS 3570 TWAIN Compliant Driver is found in the file "CONFIGPC.WRI". This file is installed with the RFS 3570 TWAIN driver(s) in your Windows directory in the subdirectory TWAIN\RFS3570. If Windows is installed on drive C: then this file can be found in C:\WINDOWS\TWAIN\RFS3570\CONFIGPC.WRI RFS Scanner 3RD PARTY SOFTWARE AND ACCESSORIES INFORMATION. Specific information about 3rd party software and accessories for use with RFS Scanners is now included on this software disk it is called "oemscan.wri" in the c:\windows\twain\rfs3570 directory. Please open and print it for future reference. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
