What's New on the TRAKKER Antares Terminals With version 8.01.08, the TRAKKER Antares family of terminals: UDPPLUS & TCP/IP: A flaw in the code that recovers from 802.11 0x353 errors could cause the terminal to enter a deadlock state that would prevent any further communications until one entered the Menu Subsystem. File System: Reading or writing zero bytes would result in an error. This was rarely seen as a result of using Avalanche to receive upgrades. With version 8.01.06, the TRAKKER Antares family of terminals: Serial: Fix bug on 248x where serial comm is disabled after input from serial device. Display: Correct the ReadDisplayBuf procedure to not use so much stack space (the entire display buffer was being copied to the stack). This change not only speeds up the procedure but solves stack overflow issues with any application that uses this procedure with insufficient stack space. With version 8.01.05, the TRAKKER Antares family of terminals: TCP/IP and UDPPLUS: When IP routing is required, use the MAC address of the default router to route all application frames without ever performing a local ARP for the remote IP. When a frame is received for a remote IP, update the ARP cache for both the remote IP and the router used to communicate to that remote IP. UDPPLUS: If the 802.11 radio driver should ever report error 0x353, momentarily suspend and resume to recover from this otherwise fatal error condition. With version 8.01.02, the TRAKKER Antares family of terminals: ROM-DOS.IMG has been patched to work with this latest release of Antares firmware. Specifically the ROM DOS stack had to be relocated to avoid conflict with the operating system. Otherwise, all functions of Antares 8.01.01 are carried forward.Download Driver Pack
