What's New on the TRAKKER Antares Terminals

With version 6.23.04, the TRAKKER Antares family
of terminals adds:

L802ll: Support for Agere Ruby Radio with secondary
  firmware 8.72.

With version 6.23.03, the TRAKKER Antares family
of terminals adds:
   TCP/IP & UDP+:
	If unit configured for resume not allowed,
	be sure to break network connection upon
	suspend.

With version 6.23, the TRAKKER Antares family
of terminals adds:

   Ethernet: 
       Increased reliability with Multitech 
       ethernet PCMCIA cards.  

   Scanner: 
       Activates spotter beam for internal long range 
       scanners.

AND otherwise continues all the benefits of 6.22:
With version 6.22, the TRAKKER Antares family 
of terminals adds:

   TCP/IP: 
      Includes Vendor ID for Antares/Intermec 
      Size of the packet out is now constant - 342 bytes.

   Display:
      Correctly works with T246x terminals.

   Xmodem:
      YMODEM protocol protocol changes eliminating error 57. 

   L80211DS:
      Radio driver initializes PCMCIA radio card more
      thoroughly; avoids lockup after suspend/resume cycle. 

Other changes:
   Menu system & Decodes:
      Allow for Code 128, standard, choice of concatenating
      or not concatenating, per the standard method of the
      F1 character in C128 labels.
   Menu sysem & Protocol Stack:
      Allow for choice of new MultiTech Ethernet card, and
      activate the connect icon via ping of the host.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
