1.1 Using MX240a with Windows 2000 and Windows XP
1.2 MX240a Requires SP 1 or later for Windows 2000

1.1 It is strongly recommended that you always run the MX240a program from the same Windows 2000 or XP user name login. This is because the configuration data used by MX240a (such as registered handsets, alert settings, etc) is stored on a per user basis.

If you choose to run MX240a from different logins, you will have to register the handheld and make configuration changes independently for each user name.

We recommend that you always run the MX240a application from the same login that it was installed from. Note that under Windows 2000 and XP only some user types are able to install new software.

2.2 In order to resolve issues with USB on Windows 2000, you must install SP 1 or later for MX240a to properly operate.
