readme_DK3200_1.txt

DK3200 software, released 20 November 02

This archive consists of one ZIP file, DK3200_dsn_1.ZIP, containing all the
project files needed to recreate this demonstration design using uVision 8051
IDE (Demo Version or PK51 version 7.00 or later) from Keil Software Inc and
PSDsoft Express (Ver 7.60 or later).

This simple program sends a varying pulse train out on PWM channel PWM0,
the DK3200 board integrates the pulse train through an RC network, and the
resulting slow-sweeping DC voltage is measured with ADC input channel ADC0.
Then the HEX ADC conversion value is displayed on LCD. This project also
illustrates the use of the uPSD PLD. A 4-bit auto-reloading down-counter is
implmented and the 8032 writes to microcells directly to load the inital count.
See App Note AN1560 for details. You can use these files to build and run a
project on the DK3000 kit, or browse them for ideas on your own circuit board.

The file DK3200_dsn_1.ZIP contains two folders.

The folder DK3200_1_c contains all the 8032 project and source files for use
with the Keil Compiler/Linker/Debugger. Copy this folder and its contents
anywhere on your disk, then open the project DK3200_1.uv2 using Keil
uVision 2 (PK51 version 7.00 or later).

The folder DK3200_1_p contains all the PSDsoft Express project files needed
to build the design. Just copy the contents of this folder into your working folder,
\\PSDexpress\my_project, and then open the project DK3200_1.ini using
PSDsoft Express.

The example demo code is provided as is and has no warranty,

code at your own risk in your applications with the expressed limitation
of liability (see below) so long as your product using the code contains
at least one uPSD products (device).
