Please follow these steps listed below to install the VIA Bus Master PCI IDE device driver. The following steps are used to convert the "VIA Bus Master PCI IDE Device Drivers" which is prepared with DOS format to a SCO UNIX "custom" installable diskette. 1. You need to have an extra blank diskette ,1.2 MB (5.25") or 1.44 MB (3.5"), to complete the installation. 2. Login to the SCO UNIX with "root" supper user account. 3. Insert the "VIA Bus Master PCI IDE Device Drivers diskette" into the 3.5" disk drive. 4. Type the following commands under the SCU UNIX prompt "#": # doscp a:/unix/install /tmp # sh /tmp/install Here the "a:" drive name is the 3.5" disk drive. In all of the installation the device name will be assigned to "a:". You could change the "A=" row of the "/etc/default/msdos" to the device name accroding to your system configuration. 5. Above step will convert the DOS format diskette to a new SCO UNIX "custom" installable diskette. After this conversion step, you could install the "VIA Bus Master PCI IDE Device Driver" to your SCO UNIX with the "custom" command.Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
