1. OTC4OD - Trumpcard Four of Diamonds Enabler

OTC4OD is an MS-DOS enabler that will configure and enable the Trumpcard
prior to the loading of the Packet Driver. It will NOT work if Card and
Socket Services are present in the machine. It will NOT work if the Ositech
Multi-function Manager is present. You CANNOT hot-swap the card if you use
the point enabler.

1.1 OTC4OD Command Line Switches

OTC4OD [/CIS=nn] [/SKT=n] [/CDT] [/LAN=nnn(nn)] [/?]

/CIS=nn Where nn is the CIS memory window

/SKT=n Where n is the socket number

/CDT Enable for 10BASE2 cable type

/LAN=ppp(nn) Where ppp is the LAN I/O port
                  100, 140, 180, 1C0, 200, 240, 280, 300, 340

and nn is the IRQ for the Ethernet
                   2, 3, 5, 7, 10, 11, 12, 15

1.2 OTC4OD Usage

The Four of Diamonds enabler will attempt automatically to scan the slots
present in the notebook searching for a Four of Diamonds Trumpcard. The
/SKT keyword can be used to override this behaviour by forcing OTC4OD
to only examine the specified socket.

However, this enabler will not provide hot-swap capability.

The enabler will open a memory window to examine the CIS of the PCCards
that it finds in the notebook. By default this window is opened in the
C800 memory segment. The enabler will attempt to find a free memory
window unless one is specified using the /CIS keyword.

By default the enabler will enable the Ethernet adapter to use 10BASE-T
media type unless the /CDT keyword is used. However, the network driver
may override this later.

The enabler will use a default IO address of 300h and IRQ of 5 unless the
/LAN keyword is used to change these settings. The IO address range used
by the Four of Diamonds is 16 ports (i.e. 0x300h - 0x30f).

An example of the usage of the OTC4OD enabler

1) Force the CIS segment to D000-D0FF and enable the Ethernet adapter
   for 0x320-0x32F,IRQ10

OTC4OD /LAN=320(10) /CIS=D0

2. OTCPKT - Trumpcard Ethernet Packet Driver

OTCPKT is a packet driver that will allow you to use the Four of Diamonds
Trumpcard with software that requires packet drivers, instead of using a NDIS
or ODI packet shim.

For the Four of Diamonds you MUST use the OTC4OD enabler.

usage: OTCPKT [options] <packet_int_no> <media> <io_addr>

where <media> 1=10BaseT, 2=10Base2
<io_addr> port value specified in OTC4OD /LAN=ppp parameter

-i -- Force driver to report itself as IEEE 802.3 instead of Ethernet II.
-d -- Delayed initialization. Used for diskless booting
-n -- NetWare conversion. Converts 802.3 packets into 8137 packets
-w -- Windows hack, obsoleted by winpkt
   -p -- Promiscuous mode disable
   -u -- Uninstall

If media is 1 this indicates that 10BASE-T media type is being used while 2
indicates that 10BASE2 media type is being used. There is NO auto media
detect support in the packet driver.

The io_addr MUST match the /LAN=ppp setting used for OTC4OD enabler, there
is no default.

The IRQ that the Trumpcard is using is always determined by the packet driver
at run time.
