Changes from v1.0.9 build 5:
. Remove garbage file .DS_Store which will be copied by the installer.

Changes from v1.0.9 build 4:
. Change installer authorization action from 'Admin Authorization' to 'Root Authorization'.
    Note: Some users with admin authorization does not have enough permission to install the driver,
    so the installation can not success for those users. With 'Root Authorization',
    the installer will ask for suitable authorization before installation and successfully install the driver.
. Correct the permissions of '/System/Library/Extensions' which overwritten by previous version driver installer.
    Note: Old driver changed the permissions of '/System/Library/Extensions' to allow all user to write,
    it generates a security problem.

.This release is based on PL2303 Mac OS X driver v1.0.9 build 3 and without code changed.
.The purpose of this release is to make the driver unflawed.
. Remove junk files '.DS_Store'.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
