C3PO Tracer This version of the C3PO Tracer will only work with GroupWise 5.2 and GroupWise 5.5. ****IF YOU HAVE THE SP1 PATCH FOR GROUPWISE 5.5 THEN YOIU NEED TO USE THE TRACER IN THE GW55SP1 DIRECTORY.**** The C3PO Tracer is used to assist C3PO authors in developing C3POs, it is a tracing mechanism. Instructions for using MsgTrace with the special build of the C3PO Manager that sends trace messages. Copy MSGTRACE.EXE and GWDT31.DLL to you hard drive. Register GWDT31.DLL by running: regsvr32.exe gwdt31.dll regsvr32.exe is a utility shipped with development tools like MSVC MSVB etc. run msgtrace.exe /wn=C3PO Tracer Start groupwise You should see C3PO Manager trace message in the message trace window. The trace messages will be a structure containing the trace message content. The content will be a comma delimited string that contains the following information: "MessageType, C3PO name, Context, calling Context, Command/Event, Description" Message Type This is the type of the message. Manager or C3PO. C3PO This is the registered Program ID of the C3PO. Context This is the C3PO context that is currently be processed. Calling Context This is the Context that the C3PO was registered under. Command/Event The event or Command being processed. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
