====================================================================== Installing the USB Tablet for Windows (Model: Acecat Flair USB, Acecat 302) ====================================================================== Note! Before you install the newly downloaded tablet driver, you must remove any tablet driver if you have installed any tablet driver in your Windows. Please follow the regular removal program procedure of Windows to remove the previous installed tablet driver. Note! During installation for Windows 98, you may need the Windows CD. Please have your Windows CD available. 1. Make sure you have removed the previous installed tablet driver. 2. Unplug the USB tablet from the USB port. Then restart the computer. 3. Plug the USB connector of the tablet into an USB port. The Windows should detect the tablet and install the HID (Human Interface Device) driver for it. After the HID driver is installed, the LED on the tablet will light. If the LED does not light, this USB port may not be available or the HID driver may not installed. For Windows 98, if prompted to search for the driver for USB Human Interface Device, follow the prompts to search for and install the driver for the USB human interface device. If prompted to insert the Windows CD, insert the Windows CD into your CD-ROM drive and click OK. If prompted for the HIDCLASS.SYS file, type the location for the Windows CAB files (e.g., D:\WIN98) and click OK. Note: You may continue the next step only if the LED on the tablet lights. 4. Extract the downloaded driver files into an independent folder in your local hard disk. Double-click the Setup icon in the folder that you store the extracted driver files. 5. For Windows 98 or ME, click Finish. Then click OK. For Windows 2000, click Finish. Click Yes and then click OK. For Windows XP, click Finish. Click Continue Anyway and then click OK. 6. When finished, the tablet is a Windows system pointing device for all Windows applications. Use the pen tip to quickly click anywhere to turn on the pen. Now you can use the pen on the tablet to move the screen cursor. NOTE! The pen operates on one battery. If the pen tip clicking or pressing has not occurred for about three minutes, the pen automatically turns off to save the life of battery and then you can not use the pen to move the screen cursor. (The LED on the tablet shows red when the pen turns off and is within the reading range of the tablet.) To turn on the pen, use the pen tip to quickly click anywhere. Then you can use the pen again to move the screen cursor. (The LED on the tablet shows green when the pen turns on and is within the reading range of the tablet.) ======================================================================Download Driver Pack
