SecretStore control requires Single Sign on Client components and NICI 1.5.1 client 
compoents to be installed on the client machine.

Single SignOn Service, NICI 1.5.1(World wide edition), and ConsoleOne 1.2 must be installed 
on the NetWare 5.0 server.

To Install NICI 1.5.1 on the server:

Download it from http://www.novell.com/products/cryptography/

1. Copy the nici_w1.exe to a directory such as x:\nici where x 
   is mapped to blr-sogi:\sys. blr-sogi is the server where you installing NICI.
2. Extract the files in nici_w1.exe into x:\nici.
3. Load nwconfig on the server.
4. Select Product Option.
5. Select Install a Product not listed.
6. Press F3.
7. Specify the path such as sys:\nici. This is the path to the nici.ips file.
8. Delete the directory x:\nici.


To Install Single Sign on a NetWare Server:

NICI must be installed before SSO is installed.

1. Copy the file in novsso625.exe to a Directory such as x:\sso, where x: is 
   mapped to blr-sogi:\sys. blr-sogi is the server where you installing SSO.
2. Extract the files in novsso625.exe into x:\sso.
3. Load nwconfig on the server.
4. Select Product Option.
5. Select Install a Product not listed.
6. Press F3.
7. Specify the path as sys:\sso\netware. This is the path to sss.ips file.
8. While installing, select to install ConsoleOne 1.2 option if it not already 
   installed. Single Sign On requires ConsoleOne 1.2 on the server.
9. Delete the directory x:\sso.

To Install NICI 1.5.1 on the client(Windows 95):

Download it from http://www.novell.com/products/cryptography/

1. Run wcniciw1.exe. This installs necessary files.

To Install SSO client Components:

Download it from http://www.developer.novell.com/ndk

1. Run ssocomp.exe.
2. Specify the directory for the installation.
3. Copy nwsso.dll from E:\Activex\sso\ssocomp diectory to Windows\system directory.
   E:\Activex\sso is the directory where sso is installed.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
