SiS 900/7016 PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter Installation ODI Driver for Client32 in DOS/Windows 3.x (1) Install Driver While setting up your Client32: ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ 1. When the Installation program ask you to "Select a LAN Driver Type", select "32-bit LAN Drivers". 2. In "32-Bit Network Board Drivers" window, select "USER SPECIFIED 32 BIT DRIVER". 3. Insert the driver diskette into your floppy drive, and specify the path of the driver in the diskette(i.e. A:\CLIENT32\) to copy the driver files to your system. 4. Select "SiS 900/7016 PCI Adapters Netware ODI32 Driver". 5. Press <F10> to finish the Settings for SiS PCI.... 6. Press <F10> to save installation configuration. 7. Press <Ctrl><Alt><Del> to restart the system. Note: A STARTNET.BAT file will be generated in the Client32 directory. (ex. C:\Novell\client32 2. Edit your STARTNET.BAT file in your Client32 directory. Add the following: LOAD C:\NOVELL\CLIENT32\SIS900.LAN FRAME=Ethernet_802.2 3. Execute STARTNET.BAT to connect to Server. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
