If you encounter such a problem, select Tools menu > Options > General tab and enable "Use Work File". In addition, enable "Specify Folder" and then specify a folder that contains sufficient available space. Compatible Scanners The following Graphtec scanners are compatible. IS2100 Ver.1.00 or later IS3100 Ver.1.00 or later CS1000 Ver.1.00 or later CS1000EV Ver.2.00 or later CS1100EV Ver.1.00 or later CS2000 Ver.1.00 or later CS300-10 Ver.1.00 or later CS400-10 Ver.1.00 or later CS500-11 Ver.1.00 or later CS500-11PRO Ver.1.00 or later CS500-11eN Ver.1.00 or later CS500-11eN-PRO Ver.1.00 or later CS600-11 Ver.1.00 or later CS600-11PRO Ver.1.00 or later CS600-11eN Ver.1.00 or later CS600-11eN-PRO Ver.1.00 or later IS200-11 Ver.1.00 or later IS200-11PRO Ver.1.00 or later IS200-11eN Ver.1.00 or later IS200-11eN-PRO Ver.1.00 or later Installation The installation process is initiated by running the SETUP.EXE file. After installation is started, complete installation by following the instructions appearing on the screen. Notes on Use 1) For operating instructions, refer to the Help menu. 2) To scan in image data through the scanner, you must have a SCSI board and ASPI manager for the ASPI that are running. 3) The standard version of Windows 95/98/Me contains an ASPI manager. However, there are a few problems (e.g., the standard ASPI manager cannot identify the SCSI ID automatically). Neither Windows NT 4.0 nor Windows 2000/XP contains an ASPI manager. If you want to use Windows 95/98/Me or Windows NT 4.0 for operation, be sure to install the ASPI Manager provided with the SCSI board. If you want to use Windows 2000/XP for operation, consult with your SCSI board vendor or Adaptec distributor. 4) While using the Scanning Master 21+ to read image data from a scanner, do not concurrently run other software to read image data from the scanner. 5) When a file is open on NetWare with Windows 95, it may not be possible to open the Help menu in some cases. If this happens, open the Help file from the Task Bar's Start button. 6) While editing with Windows 95/98/Me, red lines may be displayed on the opposite side. 7) In some cases, red lines may remain while performing operations accessed from the Edit or Tools menu. 8) When the Zoom rate is increased for display with Windows 95/98/Me, it may not be possible to display the image in some cases. 9) With certain systems, unnecessary lines may be displayed according to the display's Zoom rate. Such a display, however, does not signify any problem with the data. 10) If there is another window or a task bar on top of the Details window, the image being scanned may be imprecise, or may not be displayed. Make sure that the windows are not overlapped. Windows and Windows NT are the registered trademark of Microsoft Corp. Adaptec is the registered trademark of Adaptec, Inc.
