The directory contains two installation folders; 1. NT Driver SetUp 2. CPX Settings Setup NT Driver Setup comprise of the installation files for the driver CPX Settings Setup consists of the installation files for the application to enable the CPX settings that may be required for the printer drivers ------------------------------------------------------------------- Instruction for the driver Installation 1. The driver is in a folder called NT Driver Setup. Copy this folder into a floppy drive 2. Select AddPrinter from Printer Folders (Click Start-Settings-Printer of Windows NT) 3. Choose "My Computer" radio button option from the first dialog; Click next button 4. Choose one of the COM port to which the printer is connected; Click next button 5. Click "Have Disk" button from the dialog 6. Choose the drive and the directory of installation (a: or b:) Ensure that "DataCard.inf" is the file selected; Click Open; Click OK 7. Choose the printer to be installed from the list; Click Next 8. Select Yes if you want this printer as to be default printer; Click Next 9. Select "Not Shared"; Click Next 10. Select "No" for the Print Test Page (in case of 150 & 450); Click Finish. Windows will now start installing the Printer driver. --------------------------------------------------------------------- For printing card from Word (MS WORD 6.0) 1. Select the installed datacard Printer from Printer Folders (Click Start-Settings-Printer of Windows NT) 2. Right click on this printer icon and select properties from the popup menu 3. Ensure the port settings match with settings in Printer (Baud Rate, Parity etc. ;) 4. Select DeviceSettings tab for choosing fonts and other printer options 5. Click OK to save options 6. Open MS WORD (6.0); Prepare card with required fonts; 7. Choose Print from File menu (Follow the word print directions for getting the print) ------------------------------------------------------------------- Installation of CPX Settings Application 1. Doublle-click on the setup.exe (Disk1 directory of CPX Settings Setup) 2. It brings up the install Shield Wizard. 3. The options of the Wizard are self explanatory. Choose the options The program will install the CPX settings application to the directory that you specify. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Running CPX settings Application 1. Select Start-Programs-Datacard-DataCard CPX Settings.Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
