Contents ======== - Overview - Installation Overview ======== Included with this document is a Matrox PrecisionCAD driver for "Autodesk AutoCAD 2002" and "Autodesk Architectural Desktop 3.3". This driver improves graphics performance with these programs. Installation ============ Windows 2000/XP --------------- Simply run the setup program included with the driver. Follow the on-screen instructions. To use this setup program, Microsoft .NET Framework software needs to be installed on your system. This software is included on the installation CD-ROM included with your Matrox product and is automatically installed by the main setup program on the CD-ROM. The latest .NET software is also available from the Microsoft Web site (www.microsoft.com). To manually install this driver, see the instructions under "Windows NT 4.0". Windows NT 4.0 -------------- (1) Manually copy the included "mtxpar7.hdi" file to the "Drv" sub-folder of the Autodesk program on your system. (2) Start your Autodesk program, then click "Tools" > "Options" > "System" > "Properties". (3) Under "Acceleration", click "Hardware" > "Browse", then select the "mtxpar7.hdi" you previously copied. (4) Click "Apply & Close".Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
