The CardSoft utilities are supplied by SytemSoft and are also supplied as
Compaq utilities on Compaq portable PC's.

To use the PCMCIA Fast Ethernet card with the CardSoft
software requires the LE100.CLB file to be used by the CARDID client.

Follow these steps:

1) Copy across the LE100.CLB file:
 copy (FROM) a:\pcmcia\cardsoft\le100.clb
      (TO)   c:\cardsoft\.
      (OR)   c:\cpqdos\.

2) Edit the CARDID.INI file and add the library LE100.CLB:
      edit c:\cardsoft\cardid.ini
   OR edit c:\cpqdos\cardid.ini

   Find the section which starts "[Libraries]", and add the line

      CardLib=le100.clb

   before any other "CardLib=" lines.

When the card is inserted it will beep. Use CARDCHEK.EXE to check the card
has been configured correctly (look at the "PCMCIA Hardware" option).
