This release supports:
- SNA Server 2.11 running on NT 3.51
- SNA Server 3.0 running on NT 4.0
- Fix of INT3 problem. 			(Fixed in earlier release)
- 3 ISCA Adapters in one SNA Server	(Fixed in earlier release)
- Multiprocessor Machines (SMP)		(Added in this release)

Note: In SNA Server 3.0 setup is performed in SNA Server Manager.
      In SNA Server 2.11 setup is performed in SNA Server Setup.

Installation Procedure
**********************************************************************
1. Run SNA Server Manager.
   Under the Tools menu, select External Link Services.
   Using External Link Services, remove all DCA SDLC Link Services.

2. Copy the provided DCASDLC.INF into SNA\SYSTEM\HWSETUP.
3. Copy the provided DCASDLC.SRL into SNA\SYSTEM\HWSETUP.
4. Copy the provided DCASDLC.HLP into SNA\SYSTEM\HWSETUP.

5. Create a directory DCASDLC (if it does not exist) under
   \SNA\SYSTEM\HWSETUP.

6. Copy the provided DCASYNC.SYS into SNA\SYSTEM\HWSETUP\DCASDLC.

*****  Skip steps 7-11 if you are NOT using X.25 		 *****

7. Copy the provided DCAX25.INF into SNA\SYSTEM\HWSETUP.
8. Copy the provided DCAX25.SRL into SNA\SYSTEM\HWSETUP.
9. Copy the provided DCAX25.HLP into SNA\SYSTEM\HWSETUP.

10. Create a directory DCAX25 (if it does not exist) under
    \SNA\SYSTEM\HWSETUP.

11. Copy the provided DCASYNC.SYS into the SNA\SYSTEM\HWSETUP\DCAX25
    directory.

12. If using SNA Server 3.0 or above, run SNA Server Manager to
    re-install and configure the DCA SDLC Link service.

    For SNA SERVER 2.11, run SNA Server Setup to re-install the DCA
    SDLC Link service.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
