IMPORTANT NOTE! The BIOS upgrade and flash routine will set system CMOS and LSI SCSI controller settings to invalid. Before starting the upgrade, copy the system setup (F1) information. If the LSI SCSI controllers are used, also copy their setup information. FLASH PROCEDURE: 1. Create DOS bootable diskette. 2. Download BIOS13.EXE to the bootable diskette. 3. Execute A:BIOS13.EXE and extract files to the DOS diskette. 4. Boot diskette, autoexec.bat will execute the SSID/SSVID programming for the on-board LSI SCSI and NIC. 5. BIOS 13 will be flashed without user intervention and CMOS will be set to invalid. 6. System will reboot after completing BIOS flash. During POST, the LSI controller will be reset to default settings. 7. After POST is completed, the system will ask you to press F1 to enter setup or press F2 to load default CMOS defaults. Press F2. 8. Reboot, Press F1 to enter setup. Setup will be entered after POST is completed. When prompted, press Control-C to verify LSI controller settings. System setup will then be entered, view settings to see if changes are necessary. WINDOWS 2000 systems will need drivers for the LSI SCSI controllers. You can get the needed LSI drivers from the Internet OR copy and run the file S27U3W2K.EXE from this diskette to a blank diskette. 1. When Windows 2000 starts, after the first login, 2000 will find new SCSI controller hardware. 2. When asked for new driver, use MICROSOFT WINDOWS UPDATE if you have Internet access OR insert the newly created LSI driver diskette and specify location A:\WINNT\MINIPORT. 3. Answer yes when prompted to continue in the "Digital Signature Not Found" window. You will be asked to do the above procedure twice, once for each on board adapter.Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
