The setup program does not remove the DOSTOUCH program from the AUTOEXEC.BAT file during a Windows 95 upgrade installation. 2. The setup program will only look for the default directories for previous TouchWare versions on the target system when doing a Windows 95 upgrade installation. 3. The uninstaller does not remove the empty program folder, i.e., C:\Program Files\MicroTouch\Touchware. 4. The user must reboot after uninstalling TouchWare 5.3 in order to remove files in use during uninstall. 5. The user is notified when calibration is needed for each touchscreen (unless this function is disabled). When a multiple monitor configuration is used and the displays are mirrored, a dialog box will appear for each touchscreen even though the displays are showing the same image. 6. Attempting to open more than one instance of the Terminal tool may cause errors to occur under certain conditions. 7. Some older video cards based on the S3 chip sets may cause conflicts with COM 4. Refer to Article ID: Q127138 in the Microsoft Technical Support Knowledge base for further information. 8. The touchscreen should not be connected to COM ports sharing interrupts with other devices such as a mouse or a modem. 9. In Windows 98 multiple monitor situations, you can use a single display adapter that splits the desktop between 2 monitors (one touchscreen, one not). However, when using multiple display adapters, all monitors must be touchscreens.
