Overview This file contains information about the firmware for the MicroLink dLAN Audio. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 2. Content This directory contains the following files: README.TXT This file ML-DLAN-AUDIO-1-1-0-16.bin Firmware file ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 3. Installation Proceed as follows to update your MicroLink dLAN Audio firmware: Copy the firmware file onto the hard disk of the computer that is to be used to update the MicroLink dLAN Audio firmware. On this computer, open the configuration page of the MicroLink dLAN Audio by selecting "MicroLink Informer" -> "Device" -> "Control device". The MicroLink dLAN Audio configuration page will be displayed; change to the “Firmware” area. Now click on the button “Browse” and mark the firmware file “ML-DLAN-AUDIO-1-1-0-16.bin” and confirm with “Open”. You can then start the firmware upgrade with the button “Upload firmware”. Please do not repeatedly press the “Upload” button; the upgrade takes about 1 minute. The MicroLink dLAN Audio restarts automatically after a successful upgrade. !!Important notice!! While the firmware upgrade is in process, please ensure that you do not interrupt the connection between the PC and the MicroLink dLAN Audio, do not switch the PC off, and do not unplug the MicroLink dLAN Audio from the power socket. While the firmware upgrade is in process, the four channel LEDs on the left side of the MicroLink dLAN Audio illuminate, as do the “Power” and “Link” LEDs on the right-hand side. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
